Yoga Challenge Calendar

I created this challenge to help you stay dedicated to your practice, and also to perhaps get you out of a rut if you feel that your practice needs some new challenges. Of course we have the tendency to stay in our comfort zone, which might mean returning to your favorite few classes again and again, but in this monthly challenge I invite you to step outside of your comfort zone and perhaps try some new classes.


Suggestions for Use;

  1. Print one copy to write on, and also keep a downloaded version in your device to easily access the classes by clicking on the links provided.
  2. Fill in your goal at the top of the page!
  3. If you are a person who thrives best with stricter discipline, you might chose to follow along each day precisely as written.
  4. If you are a person who thrives best with a more flexible approach, you might view this not so much as a calendar but as a list of suggestions that you can complete in any order, depending on your written goal.
  5. Cross off each class that you complete
  6. Nominate (or recruit!) a yoga buddy to keep you accountable to your goals. Yoga is always more fun with friends anyway!

Hello Yoga Friend,


Our Sunday morning Slow Flow & Restore Class is moving to Sunday evening at 8:30pm Eastern (5:30pm Pacific and for me it will be 6AM on Monday morning). This class will now be 40 - 50 minutes in length rather than 60 -70.


In India the work week runs from Monday through Saturday. Therefore, the only day off for my husband, my family and my friends here is Sunday. For several years now, my only day off has been Monday. Naturally I would like to have more time to enjoy with my husband, and so I am rearranging my schedule to have Sundays off instead of Mondays. 


Additionally, I personally know of several Yoga Club members who have other activities and obligations on Sunday mornings, so I am hoping that this new evening time will be a welcome change. 


I am also hoping that this will be a positive change for our West Coast members, who probably would prefer a Sunday evening yoga class rather than waking early on a Sunday morning for a 6:30am class. 


This change will take effect immediately and be reflected in the weekly email which is now coming to you on Saturdays.
