Whether you are new to yoga, or have been practicing for years, Yoga Club will inspire and motivate your practice. Yoga is a wonderful journey that we travel to come back home to ourselves. Yoga helps you feel at home in your body and mind. Being part of Yoga Club means that you can access your online yoga studio ANYTIME and ANYWHERE. You can learn and practice from the comfort of your home, or on your travels, and at the times that work best with your schedule. You can also enjoy the community feeling of a yoga studio by attending our live online classes, where we have optional social time 10 minutes before class begins. Time is also reserved after class to answer any questions you may have about the poses we covered in class.
Yoga Club Members can now enjoy the following live online classes;
- Monday at 8pm - Gentle Yoga (9pm during Daylight Savings Time)
- Wednesday at 9:30am - Gentle Yoga
- Thursday at 8pm - This Class Format Changes Weekly. (9pm during Daylight Savings Time)
- Saturday at 9am - Moderate Yoga
- Sunday at 9:30am - Slow Flow & Restore Yoga (Gentle Yoga followed by Restorative Yoga)
Classes are 60-70 minutes in length
Yoga creates self acceptance, which creates self love which influences you to make more loving choices such as eating better and exercising regularly.
In Yoga Club you will learn many ways to modify poses to suite your own abilities. From beginners to advanced practitioners, everyone is welcome in Yoga Club and you will surely find exactly the class you need in our LARGE library of recorded classes.
Increase your strength and confidence with regular Yoga practice. Through detailed instruction during classes you will learn optimal and safe alignment and increase your body awareness.
In Addition to our vast library of classes, and live online classes, you can delve more deeply into the poses through Pose Tutorials. Covering optimal alignment, energetic engagements, modifications and variations you can practice individual poses whenever you want to learn more, or refresh your practice.
We also offer several specialty classes such as Yoga for relief of back pain and yoga classes that do not require you to be on your knees or your wrists. Scroll down to learn more about all of the many features you can enjoy with your Yoga Club subscription.
You really don't know of what you are capable, until you move forward and walk the path, putting one foot in front of the other. Previously Jennifer lived in the USA and taught Yoga, Music and Meditation in many locations in Pennsylvania, as well as online. In 2021 she moved to India to join her husband, who is also an active participant in Yoga Club. Classes and events are broadcast live from India, and additionally there is a section of Yoga Club dedicated to sharing "Glimpses of India" for those who are interested in learning more about the culture of India, the birthplace of Yoga.
Yoga Club Special Features
Class Library - A wide variety of recorded classes from gentle, restorative classes to more vigorously flowing classes, you can find a practice that suits your needs and energy level on any given day. Class style and length will be listed in the title so you can choose exactly what you need and in the time frame available to you. You have lifetime access to the full archive of classes so that you can return to your favorite classes as often as you like.
Online Classes via Zoom - Five live classes every week.
Glimpses of India - India, which has become my home, is the birthplace of Yoga. Here I share short videos of different aspects of life in India.
Yoga for Beginners - If you are new to Yoga, you can enjoy this special section just for beginners to help you get started on your Yoga Journey. These Beginner classes can also be enjoyed by seasoned practitioners who may be in need of very gentle classes.
Asana (pose) - In this section you will receive detailed instruction on individual poses. Take time to really understand each pose; the parts of body that are engaged as well as the chakras emphasized. You will learn optimal alignment for each pose and taught how to avoid common mistakes.
Yoga Assessments - Get regular feedback about your practice by sending me videos or photos of your poses or practice.
Building up to Inversions - Going upside-down can be intimidating, but there are easy steps you can take to progressively, mindfully, and safely work towards full inversions. This section walks you through all of those steps, offering modifications along the way. If you thought inversions were out of your reach, this section will help you change your view, literally, as you gain a new perspective on being upside-down!
Meditation - One of the eight limbs of classical yoga, meditation is an important component to any yoga practice. In this section you can enjoy audio files of guided meditations as well as teachings on different meditation techniques.
Beyond the Mat - In this section you will learn about other various elements of a well-rounded yoga practice including teachings on the Chakras, Yamas, Niyamas, Pranayama, Koshas, and MORE! And don't worry, if you aren't familiar with these words or topics, you will be soon!! :)
Yoga Chat - Here we discuss a wide variety of yoga topics as well as answer any questions you might have about yoga. Whether you are seeking clarification on a particular pose, or pondering an aspect of yoga philosophy, you can ask your questions here and receive support and guidance from an experienced registered yoga teacher. Ask questions, share your views, and connect with other practitioners here in Yoga Chat.
New classes and lectures are uploaded regularly to the course. You will receive an email every Sunday that will include the weekly class schedule and any new content that has been added so that you won't miss anything!
